South Africa’s favourite crypto platform, Luno, on the 9th of November announced that it now supported Ethereum. If you’ve been wondering why your exchange rate indicator has been going crazy, this what they were probably setting up for.
Verified users can now buy, sell, and store Ethereum on their Luno app. Users can add Ethereum capabilities to their account by toggling the menu, selecting the add wallet option and tapping Add ETH, “Bob’s your uncle!” You’re good to go.
Luno believes crypto currencies will form the basis of the future of finance and have made it their mission make access to crypto easier for everyone, everywhere. The crypto firm foresees a world with multiple digital currencies and Ethereum is a step in that direction.
Luno may support other cryptocurrencies in future, as they’ve previously stated. They already support Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum and just to prove they’re no slackers, were already set up to support the coin resulting from the now-shelved SegWit2X fork.
